Super Bowl Italian Sliders

Deliciously cheesy and savory Italian sliders, perfect for game day gatherings. These mini sandwiches are filled with Italian meats and melted cheese, served on soft rolls.

Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 12 slider rolls slider rolls
  • 1 pound Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce for serving
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Mix the cooked sausage with pepperoni slices and Italian seasoning.
Assemble the Sliders
  1. Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  2. Evenly distribute the sausage and pepperoni mixture over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  3. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the meat mixture.
  4. Place the top halves of the rolls on the sliders.
Bake
  1. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  2. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
