Method
Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
Prepare the Sauce
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
- Add the sliced bell peppers and cook for an additional 5 minutes until softened.
- Stir in the heavy cream, vegetable broth, jerk seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Combine Pasta and Sauce
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Stir to combine and add reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.
- Allow to simmer for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.
Serve
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
- Serve hot and enjoy your Rasta Pasta!

Notes
Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less jerk seasoning. For a vegetarian version, omit any meat and use vegetable broth.
