Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup buttermilk for marinating
  • 1 cup pretzel crumbs finely crushed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
For Serving
  • 1 cup honey mustard for dipping

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. In a bowl, soak the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes to tenderize the meat.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the pretzel crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Coat the Chicken
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove each chicken breast from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off, then coat thoroughly in the pretzel crumb mixture.
Bake the Chicken
  1. Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
Serve
  1. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  2. Serve the Pretzel Crusted Chicken with honey mustard for dipping.
