Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 inch ginger sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
For the Potstickers
  • 12 pieces frozen potstickers
  • 1 cup baby bok choy halved
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 carrot carrot julienned
For the Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Broth
  1. In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the ginger and garlic; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce, then bring to a simmer.
Cook the Vegetables
  1. Add the sliced mushrooms and julienned carrot to the broth.
  2. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in the baby bok choy and allow to cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Add the Potstickers
  1. Add the frozen potstickers to the simmering broth.
  2. Let them cook for 8-10 minutes until heated through.
Serve the Soup
  1. Ladle the soup into bowls, ensuring each has potstickers and vegetables.
  2. Garnish with sliced green onions and chopped cilantro before serving.
