Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 2 cups Oreo cookies crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
For the Filling
  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 Oreo cookies Oreo cookies chopped
For the Topping
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 4 Oreo cookies Oreo cookies crushed

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter until well mixed.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
Prepare the Filling
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  2. Add sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  3. Fold in the chopped Oreo cookies.
Combine and Bake
  1. Pour the filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  3. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door ajar for 1 hour to cool gradually.
Chill and Serve
  1. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  2. Before serving, top the cheesecake with whipped cream and crushed Oreo cookies.
  3. Slice and enjoy your delicious Oreo Cheesecake!
