Method
Cooking the Beef
- In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain any excess fat from the pot.
Adding Ingredients
- To the pot, add the beef broth, uncooked pasta, and ranch seasoning mix.
- Stir to combine all ingredients well.
Cooking the Pasta
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover the pot.
- Let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and has absorbed most of the liquid.
Finishing Touches
- Once the pasta is cooked, remove the pot from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Let it sit for a few minutes to thicken before serving.
Serving
- Spoon the beef cheddar ranch mixture into bowls and top with a dollop of sour cream and sliced green onions.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
