Method
Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.
Prepare the Salmon
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season salmon fillets with lemon juice, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- Remove salmon from the skillet and flake into large pieces.
Make the Sauce
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Stir in fresh spinach and allow to wilt for about 2-3 minutes.
- Add reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.
Combine Everything
- Add the cooked pasta and flaked salmon to the skillet with the sauce.
- Toss gently to combine and heat through, about 2 minutes.
Serve
- Plate the pasta and garnish with grated parmesan and lemon zest.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
