Prepare the Meat Sauce
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 15 minutes until thickened.
Make the Cheese Mixture
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, and chopped parsley. Mix well until smooth.
Assemble the Lasagna
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a small baking dish.
- Layer 2 lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the cheese mixture on top.
- Add another layer of meat sauce, followed by 2 more noodles, the remaining cheese mixture, and top with the rest of the meat sauce.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake the Lasagna
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serve
- Let the lasagna cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
