Method
Prepare Base Layer
- Boil 2 cups of water and let it cool slightly.
- Dissolve the 2 packages of gelatin powder in the warm water, stirring until completely dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into a clear serving dish and refrigerate for 1 hour until set.
Prepare Fruit Layer
- In a separate bowl, combine 2 cups of fruit juice and 2 tablespoons of sugar (if desired).
- Dissolve the next 2 packages of gelatin powder in the juice mixture, stirring well.
- Once the base layer is set, pour the fruit layer over it and return to the refrigerator for 1 hour to set.
Assemble Layers
- Repeat the process of preparing additional layers with different flavors as desired, allowing each layer to set in between.
- Once all layers are set, top with whipped cream before serving.
Serve
- Slice into squares or serve in individual cups.
- Garnish with fresh fruit or mint leaves if desired.
