Easy Layered Christmas Jello

This festive layered jello dessert is a colorful and delightful treat for the holiday season, perfect for parties and family gatherings.

Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 2 cups water boiled and cooled
  • 2 packages gelatin powder flavor of your choice
For the Layers
  • 2 cups fruit juice such as cranberry or orange
  • 2 tablespoons sugar optional, to taste
  • 2 packages gelatin powder flavor of your choice
For the Topping
  • 1 cup whipped cream for serving

Method
 

Prepare Base Layer
  1. Boil 2 cups of water and let it cool slightly.
  2. Dissolve the 2 packages of gelatin powder in the warm water, stirring until completely dissolved.
  3. Pour the mixture into a clear serving dish and refrigerate for 1 hour until set.
Prepare Fruit Layer
  1. In a separate bowl, combine 2 cups of fruit juice and 2 tablespoons of sugar (if desired).
  2. Dissolve the next 2 packages of gelatin powder in the juice mixture, stirring well.
  3. Once the base layer is set, pour the fruit layer over it and return to the refrigerator for 1 hour to set.
Assemble Layers
  1. Repeat the process of preparing additional layers with different flavors as desired, allowing each layer to set in between.
  2. Once all layers are set, top with whipped cream before serving.
Serve
  1. Slice into squares or serve in individual cups.
  2. Garnish with fresh fruit or mint leaves if desired.
