Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 pound chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mushrooms are tender.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and dried thyme, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Remove from heat.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
