Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 8 ounces spaghetti uncooked
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth low sodium
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup peas frozen or fresh
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Topping
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs optional for crunch

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the cooked chicken, mushrooms, chicken broth, heavy cream, peas, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for about 5-7 minutes until heated through.
  4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and mix well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly.
  6. In a bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and bread crumbs (if using). Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the pasta.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy your Chicken Tetrazzini!
