  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

Method
 

Prepare the Turkey
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the turkey breast with olive oil and then coat it evenly with the spice mixture.

Cook the Turkey
  1. Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  2. Remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Gradually add the chicken broth while whisking to avoid lumps.
  4. Stir in the Cajun seasoning and let the gravy simmer until thickened, about 5-10 minutes.
