Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 4 cups broccoli florets fresh
  • 1 cup red grapes halved
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup red onion diced
For the Dressing
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds toasted

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. In a large bowl, add the broccoli florets, halved red grapes, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced red onion.
  2. Toss the ingredients together until well combined.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Combine Salad and Dressing
  1. Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  2. For best flavor, let the salad sit for at least 10 minutes before serving.
Add Toppings
  1. Just before serving, sprinkle the toasted sunflower seeds on top of the salad.
  2. Give the salad one final toss to distribute the seeds.
