  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 soft hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While baking, slice hoagie rolls lengthwise and arrange on a tray. Spoon marinara sauce into each roll.
  6. Once meatballs are ready, place them inside the rolls and top with provolone cheese.
  7. Return to oven for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
