  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup crushed tortilla chips (plus more for topping)
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve some cooking water.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef (5-7 minutes). Stir in taco seasoning with a splash of water.
  3. Reduce heat to low, whisk in milk and sour cream until smooth. Gradually add cheddar cheese until melted.
  4. Stir cooked macaroni into the cheese mixture along with crushed tortilla chips until well combined.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish, top with extra tortilla chips and cheese, then bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
