  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup ladyfinger cookies
  • 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee

  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Brew espresso or strong coffee and let it cool slightly. Sweeten with sugar if desired.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese and remaining sugar until smooth.
  3. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture and layer them at the bottom of serving cups.
  4. Spoon half of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers followed by half of the sliced strawberries.
  5. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers, the rest of the mascarpone mixture, and remaining strawberries.
  6. Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving and dust with cocoa powder.
