  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into four oval patties about 1 inch thick.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the patties on both sides (about 3 minutes each). Set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until softened (about 5 minutes). Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up any browned bits.
  5. Return patties to the skillet and simmer in the gravy for about 10 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice topped with gravy.
