  6. Roll tablespoon-sized portions into balls and space them on ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers are soft.
  8. Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie immediately after removing from the oven.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
