Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Spread a thin layer of mustard or cream cheese on the pastry, then layer with slices of ham and shredded cheese.
  4. Tightly roll the pastry from one end to the other and slice into 1-inch pieces.
  5. Place the rolls cut side up on the prepared baking sheet and brush with an egg wash made from whisking together the egg and milk.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
