  • 8 oz fresh egg noodles
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with water (for thickening)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by slicing the beef and vegetables.
  2. In a bowl, combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to create the flavor base.
  3. Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Sauté the beef for about 3–5 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add bell peppers and carrots to the wok; sauté for 3–4 minutes until slightly softened.
  5. Incorporate cooked noodles and sauce mixture into the wok. Stir gently for about 1–2 minutes until everything is heated through.
  6. Finish with chopped green onions before serving hot.
