  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef against the grain into thin strips (about 1/2 inch thick).
  2. Chop the bell peppers and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with hoisin sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  5. Add marinated beef strips in batches and sear for about 2 minutes per side until browned but not fully cooked. Remove from the pan.
  6. Add the prepared vegetables to the same pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until bright and slightly tender.
  7. Return the beef to the pan with vegetables and stir everything together for another minute until heated through.
  8. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
