  • 12 large button mushrooms
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth, remove stems, and finely chop them.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté chopped mushroom stems with minced garlic for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix the sautéed mushroom mixture with crab meat, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Spoon the filling generously into each mushroom cap.
  6. Top each filled mushroom with panko breadcrumbs and drizzle with melted butter.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
