  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon (divided)

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp additional granulated sugar (for swirl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, 1 tsp cinnamon, and salt until combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat together milk, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined; lumps are okay.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the remaining cinnamon with the additional sugar.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top. Add the remaining batter and finish with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool slightly before slicing.
