Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter; mix with dry ingredients until just combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar and additional cinnamon for the swirl.
  5. Fill muffin cups halfway with batter, sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top, then add more batter until nearly full.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before glazing made from powdered sugar and milk.
