Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 8 oz egg noodles, cooked according to package instructions

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by slicing the beef and chopping the onions and mushrooms.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the beef strips in oil until browned for about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and cook the onions and mushrooms until soft and golden brown (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Pour in the beef broth, scraping up any brown bits from the skillet. Stir in garlic, Dijon mustard, and heavy cream; let simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet; stir gently until heated through.
  6. Serve over cooked egg noodles and garnish with parsley if desired.
