  • 2 tbsp bourbon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined and glossy.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and bourbon.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
