  3. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form; gently fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Dip ladyfingers briefly in the coffee-egg mixture without soaking them completely.
  5. Layer dipped ladyfingers and mascarpone mix in serving cups, repeating until filled.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving for flavors to meld.
