  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and gradually mix in flour until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough, pinch off small pieces, and shape them into balls. Place three balls in each greased muffin cup.
  6. Cover again and let rise for another 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Brush with melted butter before serving.
