  • 1/3 cup red and white sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract until fully combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Stir in green food coloring until you reach the desired shade of green.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart. Sprinkle with red and white sprinkles before baking.
  8. Bake for about 10 minutes until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft. Cool on baking sheets for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
