Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb white fish fillets (cod or haddock)
  • 8 slider buns
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1/2 cup tartar sauce
  • 1/2 cup sliced dill pickles
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Rinse and pat dry the fish fillets; cut into slider-sized pieces.
  3. Set up a breading station: one bowl with seasoned flour, another with beaten eggs, and the last with panko breadcrumbs. Dip each piece of fish into flour, then egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Place coated fish on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Slice the slider buns and spread tartar sauce on both halves. Add a piece of baked fish, followed by lettuce and dill pickles.
  6. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
